Habit 5 “Seek first to Understand before being Understood”. An extension of Habit 5 is “Can you state, with the same Passion and Integrity, the other person’s viewpoint?” Essentially make their argument for them; similar to the Point & Counter-Point format of formal debating (but not exactly, I know).
