Market Rules Prevent Crashes (?)

It’s quite unlikely the Crash of 1987, Black Monday, will occur again. The DJIA lost 22.6% of its value or $500 billion dollars on October 19th 1987.

The market itself has Rules; a form of STOP-LOSSes.  Although, not tested to my knowledge, the stock market(s), at least in North America, aren’t as cataclysmic as some fear-mongers promote.
